Whole-school updates

  • NAPLAN Results: This week, we celebrated fantastic NAPLAN results, especially the significant growth in Reading from Year 3 to Year 5, with 95% of students showing medium to high relative growth. Digital reports will be on Compass soon, with printed copies sent home today (Thursday 16 July).
  • Three Way Conferences & Curriculum Day: Heads up! Three Way Conference bookings close on Monday 20 July at 9:00am. Wednesday 22 July is a Curriculum Day, so students only attend for their scheduled conference time. TheirCare is available for families if needed.
  • Planned Industrial Action: The Australian Education Union (AEU) has confirmed planned industrial action for Thursday 23 July, which will cause significant disruption and affect the swimming program. Please check Compass for updates on affected classes and school operation.
  • Big Group Hug Donations: We're collecting new and pre-loved winter clothing and bed linen (sizes 3-16, especially) for children aged 1-16. Donations can be dropped off at the office to support families in need.
  • Book Club - Issue 5: Magazines for Issue 5 are coming home! Orders are due back to school by Friday 31 July. There are four ways to order, including credit card online via LOOP or over the phone, cash, or cheque.
  • ICAS: Registrations for ICAS assessments close on Monday 27 July. Don't miss out if your child is keen to participate!
