  • Dental Program: The free Smile Squad from healthAbility will be visiting Old Orchard Primary School between Monday 24 August and Friday 18 September. This program offers free dental check-ups, preventative care, and treatment to eligible students right at school. To participate, register online by Friday 21 August.
  • Arrival & Punctuality: Classroom doors open at 8:50am, with learning starting at 9:00am. Students should enter through their designated year-level doors, not the front office. Staff supervise playgrounds from 8:45am, so please don't drop off students earlier than this unless they are attending Team Kids OSHC.
  • Late Arrival & Early Dismissal: If arriving late, students must sign in at the office. For early collection, use the Sentral Kiosk at the front office. To minimize disruption, aim for pick-up times around 11:30am, 12:20pm, 2:00pm, or 2:40pm.
  • Absences: Please notify the office by 9:00am via phone or Sentral portal if your child is absent. Unexplained absences will trigger a text message from the school.
  • Contact Details: Keep the office updated on any changes to your address, phone numbers, email, and emergency contacts.
  • Visitors & Child Safety: All visitors, including parents and carers, must sign in at the front office using the Sentral Kiosk and wear a Visitor's Badge. Forgotten items like hats or lunches should be left at the office. Student toilets are for students only; an adult bathroom is available next to the office.
