  • NAPLAN Results: The recent NAPLAN results have been released, reflecting strong academic progress and dedicated teaching. Remember, NAPLAN is just one snapshot and doesn't capture the full scope of student growth and talents.
  • 2027 Prep Enrolments: applications for our 2027 Prep intake are closing on Friday, 31st July 2026. Please submit online via the VicStudents website if you have a child starting next year, or share with friends and family.
  • Bike & Scooter Safety: For everyone's safety, please remind children to walk their bikes and scooters once inside the school gates. Encourage extra care at designated crossings and vigilance around the busy medical centre carpark area.
  • NCCD Data Collection: Blackburn Primary participates in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) each year. This process helps schools identify and strengthen support for students with disability, with all individual student information remaining private and confidential.
  • Parent Contributions: Information for 2026 Parent Payments is now on Compass and in hard copy via your child. Payment plans are available, and curriculum contributions will be requested from families from 1st November 2026. Tax-deductible payments can be made towards the School Building and Library Funds.
