Whole-school updates

  • P&C Regulation Toolboxes: Our P&C has generously provided new Regulation Toolboxes for every class, a meaningful step forward in supporting student self-regulation. SRC members will provide feedback on this initiative in Term 4 (October-December 2026).
  • Staff in Training: We're delighted to welcome pre-service teachers from the University of Newcastle, who will be gaining valuable experience at KPS until the end of Term 2 (Friday 26 June 2026).
  • Attendance Reminders: Please submit reasons for any student absences within 7 days, as per NSW Department of Education requirements, to ensure records are accurate.
  • NCCD Data Collection: All Australian schools participate in the annual Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability. Parents of children with disability will be consulted by teachers to ensure ongoing adjustments support learning and participation.
  • Canteen News: Great news! There's a new breakfast deal available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Heads up for Term 3 (starting Monday 13 July 2026): canteen prices will be adjusted due to rising costs, with a new volunteer roster coming out soon. Huge thanks to our current canteen volunteers!
  • Annual School Disco: Get ready to boogie at the Kahibah Annual School Disco on Thursday 25 June! Tickets must be pre-purchased via Spriggy, so grab yours soon to avoid missing out. 🌟
