Whole-school updates

• Email Updates: Please ensure your email address on file is current, as Wyndham College uses email as its primary method for important correspondence, including N-Awards and Letters of Concern.
• Student Absences: If your child is unwell or won't be attending, notify the school via phone (9208 7100 - Office opens 7:30am), email (Wyndhamcol-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au), by replying to the SMS absence message, or with a written note upon their return.
• Early Departure: Students needing to leave school early for appointments must bring a note with their full name, the date, departure time, reason, and a parent's signature. This note needs to be countersigned by a Deputy Principal before the student can sign out at the Office.
• Becoming Unwell at School: If your child becomes unwell, Office staff will contact parents/carers for permission to go home and to arrange transport. If your child contacts you directly, please have them report to the College Office and then call 9208 7100 yourself to ensure a swift sign-out.
• School Bytes Payments & Permissions: Wyndham College uses School Bytes for all online payments and digital permission notes. This allows you to pay for multiple siblings, use family credit, download receipts, and view payment history. While online is preferred, cash and EFTPOS payments are still accepted before school, recess, and lunch. Remember, you can only make payments for an event after permission has been granted.
