Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Message: Mrs Paterson thanks families and staff for an amazing Term 2, highlighting student achievements and the dedication of teachers in preparing Semester One reports.
  • NAIDOC Week: The Grange Public School will be celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with an incursion on Friday 3 July. Students and staff will participate in various enriching activities.
  • Sporting Achievements: Congratulations to all students who represented the school in Cross Country, with 2 students competing at Regional level and 1 student progressing to the State Cross Country Championship. Additionally, 1 student was selected for the Sydney South West 13 Years and Under Girls Touch team and SSW Primary Girls Rugby League, and a group of 4 students made The Fields Zone Team for Girls Rugby 7's, with 2 of them also making the SSW Team for Girls Rugby 7's.
  • Athletics Carnival: Due to weather changes, the K-2 children will now have their combined Athletics and Cross Country Carnival in Term 3. A huge thank you to Miss Gurtner, Mrs Thakur, and Mrs Lovric for organising the recent successful carnival despite changes, and to all staff for their flexibility.
  • Debating Team: The school's 2 debating teams, Team Koda and Team Kody, have been busy preparing for and competing in 4 rounds of debating throughout Term 2. Team Koda emerged victorious with 3 wins out of 4 rounds, including a debate against Team Kody.
  • Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking: 2 students from Stage 2 and 2 students from Stage 3 represented the school in the Network Final, delivering both prepared and impromptu speeches. The school is very proud of their efforts!
