Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Message: Our Principal shared an opening prayer for Term 3, hoping for a term filled with learning, growth, and opportunity for all students, families, and staff.
  • Traffic Management Plan: The school executive is working with the Diocesan Safety and Risk team on a new traffic management plan, with processes and changes to current practices to be communicated in the coming weeks. Your cooperation is appreciated!
  • School Disco: Get ready to boogie at the school disco on Thursday 30 July! There are two sessions: Kindergarten to Year 2 from 5:30pm-6:30pm, and Years 3-6 from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Parents are welcome to stay in the Fr Walsh Room for coffee, tea, and biscuits (gold coin donation).
  • Staffing Updates: Welcome back to Liam Ireson in 6N from parental leave. Therese Jackman will be on LSL from Wednesday 19 August until the end of term. Marcia Mifsud-Keenan will cover 4N on Thursdays and Fridays. Alison Potts will finish her LSA role on Friday 24 July, and Canteen Co-ordinator Leearne Hardgrove will finish on Friday 28 August. Lynette Barker returns from LSL on Friday 14 August.
  • Parent/Teacher Interviews: General parent/teacher interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 25 August and Thursday 27 August, both from 3:30pm-6pm. Bookings will be available via Compass soon to discuss your child's progress and set goals.
  • School Holiday Works: During the July holidays, the school saw extensive maintenance including pressure washing, lift maintenance, garden work, sandpit refilling, tree maintenance, a new hall projector, and hall ceiling repairs. Footings have also begun for a new shade sail!
