Whole-school updates

  • Welcome Back: A very warm welcome to Term 3, especially to the new families who have joined St Patrick's this term.
  • Sporting Success: Our QISSN and Confraternity teams had an incredible holiday! The Open Boys Confro team won the Bob Lindner Trophy, the Girls' Rugby League team finished fourth in Division 1, and the QISSN Netball girls won their Grand Final, taking home the Candice Adams Trophy. Two students were selected in the Queensland merit team, and a Year 1 student was named in the QISSN Rising Stars team.
  • Parent Engagement Evening Recap: The "Parenting Teens with Insight and Empathy" session on Tuesday 21 July, facilitated by our College Counsellors, was well-attended and covered topics like peer dynamics, cyberbullying, and adolescent stress management.
  • NAIDOC Celebrations: St Patrick's participated in the NAIDOC Mass on Tuesday, commemorating "Fifty Years Deadly". Further NAIDOC activities will continue throughout this term.
  • Catholic Education Week: Join us next week, from Sunday 26 July to Saturday 1 August, to celebrate Catholic Education Week with the theme "Share your light, inspire others". Various activities are planned across both campuses.
  • Award Nomination: Congratulations to Mrs Kacey Noy for her Catholic Education Week Award nomination, recognising her strong support as President of the School Board.
