  • Principal's Welcome: Welcome back to Term 3! This term promises many special moments including Grandparents & Special Friends Day, First Eucharist, 100 Days of School, St Mary MacKillop Feast Day, Book Week, Colour Run, Celebration of Learning, and Sports Colours Day. Families are warmly invited to join in these community events.
  • Capital Works Update: The Stage 4 building project (Josephite Centre) has received final approval and is now at tender, with initial works expected to commence in October. The new synthetic soccer pitch is ordered for installation in August, funded by community efforts, and the upcoming Colour Run will contribute further.
  • 2027 Enrolments: Prep 2027 enrolment meetings took place this week, with 100 students joining next year. There are still limited second-round offers for Prep, and places available in Years 1-6 for 2027. If you have family or friends considering SMCM, encourage them to apply via the school website.
  • Grandparents & Special Friends Day: The school looks forward to welcoming grandparents and special friends on Monday 27 July to celebrate the Feast of St Anne and St Joachim. See the Community and Family Engagement section for more information.
  • Pupil Free Days: Mark your calendars for upcoming Pupil Free Days on Monday 7 September and Monday 2 November. There's also a 2027 Staff Planning Day on Friday 4 December. Arrange care as school will be closed to students.
  • Faith & Condolences: Our thoughts and prayers are with families in the community who have recently experienced the passing of loved ones.
