Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Study Leave: Our Principal, Helen, will be taking Study Leave from Wednesday 1 July until Friday 28 August 2026 to research Positive Parent Partnerships in the USA. Shannon Styles will oversee the school during this time, supported by Louise Headlam and Karolyn Davidson.
  • Parent/Teacher Conversations: Mid-year reports will be discussed during Student/Parent/Teacher Conversations from Monday 29 June to Thursday 2 July, with a late night on Tuesday 30 June. Childcare will be available in the library daily after school for siblings. Please ensure you have booked your appointments via the provided link.
  • Multi-School Organisation (MSO2): St Leonards will join Ravenswood Heights and Youngtown Primary Schools in MSO2, officially launching in Term 1, 2027. This initiative aims to strengthen support for principals and teachers, reduce administrative burdens, and foster collaboration to improve student outcomes while maintaining the school's identity.
  • School Attendance: Our overall attendance rate for 2026 is currently 89%. Please ensure children attend school, especially on Mondays which often have the lowest attendance, as consistent attendance is vital for academic, social, and emotional wellbeing. Contact your class teacher if you need support with attendance.
  • Secondhand Uniform Sale: Grab some bargains at the Secondhand Uniform Sale on Tuesday 30 June.
  • Hot Dog Day: Get ready for Hot Dog Day on Thursday 9 July!
