  • Deep Reading Initiative: Our Assistant Principal, Shae, shared that this term focuses on developing lifelong readers by introducing hundreds of new books, fostering independent reading, and encouraging critical thinking through deep reading workshops.
  • FORPS 2026 Readathon: Get ready to dive into books! Our Friends of Rowville Primary School (FORPS) are hosting a Readathon to celebrate reading and raise funds for the school. Fantastic prizes from generous sponsors are up for grabs for top readers and fundraisers. Remember to return your sponsorship money and forms by Friday 4 September.
  • FORPS Donation Drive: FORPS is seeking donations for upcoming Father's Day, Christmas raffles, discos, and other events throughout the year. Gift vouchers, family passes, or new items are all welcome. Businesses and families who donate will receive a thank you in the newsletter. Contact 5000-forps@schools.vic.edu.au with offers.
  • Second Hand Uniform Shop: Grab some bargains! Our Parent Volunteers keep the Second Hand Uniform Shop open every fortnight on a Wednesday and once a month on a Tuesday. It's located next to the Foundation classrooms, with prices starting from $2.00.
  • Uniform Shop Term 3 Dates: Upcoming opening dates are Wednesday 5 August, Tuesday 18 August, Wednesday 19 August, Wednesday 2 September, Tuesday 15 September, and Wednesday 16 September, all from approximately 2:45pm-3:15pm.
  • Label Everything!: A friendly reminder to please label all school items, including clothing, hats, drink bottles, and lunch boxes, so lost items can find their way home quickly.
