  • Playground Opening: The new playground officially opened, thanks to our wonderful P&C and local MP Hon. Marjorie O'Neil. Students are loving the new space!
  • Meet the Teacher Recap: Families had a chance to meet their child's teacher and learn about learning expectations for the year during the Meet the Teacher sessions.
  • Meet Charlie the Support Dog: Rainbow Street Public School has a new staff member, Charlie, a three-and-a-half-year-old cavoodle who will be a support dog on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Premier's Reading Challenge 2026: The challenge opened in February. Students use their DoE login, and support resources are available online. Contact Karen Leo if you have questions.
  • Library Bags: Students in Kindergarten to Year 4 need a library bag to borrow books. Purchase one for $6.00 via School Bytes, or use any compact cloth bag.
