Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Message: Our Principal, Lee, shared a heartfelt thank you to all staff for their incredible dedication, reminding us that their efforts often go unseen. It's a lovely call to action for families to express gratitude too!
  • Student Superstars: Builders on site have praised our students for being happy, polite, friendly, and positive, noting an absence of unkind behaviour. Plus, staff at the Woodville High soccer carnival and Woodhouse Adventure Park camp also gave glowing reports on our students' conduct and engagement.
  • Term 3 Changes Ahead: Get ready for some big shifts next term, starting Monday 20 July! A mid-year Reception class will begin, Year 1 classes are moving into the new learning spaces in Bilyonendi Hall, the library will relocate to the old Year 1AC classroom, and a new kitchen/canteen will open within Bilyonendi Hall.
  • Building Project Handover: The Bilyonendi Hall, new OSHC space, storeroom, toilets, and carpark are all expected to be handed over by Friday 21 August.
  • Staffing Update: We send our best wishes to Kim Whyte and Rebecca Belperio as they commence their maternity leave at the end of Term 2, Friday 3 July. The school is currently appointing a new Spanish teacher to cover Rebecca's leave.
  • Confirmation: In June, 14 students from Our Lady Queen of Peace School were confirmed by Fr Roman Palma. This was a beautiful community event culminating weeks of preparation.
