  • From the Deputy Principal: Mr Michael Anderson reflects on the many 'Moments of Grace' this term, from the MazzFest rock night to the Ancient World Museum Day, highlighting how these events bring the community together. He wishes everyone a life-giving and well-earned three-week break.
  • Rector's Reflection: Fr Michael Twigg gives thanks for a term filled with concerts, sports, Masses, and camps. He congratulates the Eagles Cup team and the Senior Football team on their finals appearances and looks forward to visiting boarding families over the holidays. And yes, for those who bleed purple, he's ordered the paint and anchors for the Dockers.
  • Faith & Mission: Families are warmly invited to the Mazenod Community Mass every Friday at 8:00 am in the College Chapel. It's a great way to start the day grounded in faith.
  • Young Vinnies Sleepout: A huge effort from the Young Vinnies Society, who participated in the annual sleepout at St Brigid's College. They braved a 4°C night to raise awareness for homelessness and raised approximately $4,000. Well done to all involved!
  • Wellbeing Moment: This week's focus is on motivation. The key takeaway? Action often creates momentum. You don't need to feel ready to begin; just starting is usually the hardest part. The College Psychologists are always available for a chat.
  • 60th Anniversary Callout: As the College approaches its 60th Anniversary in 2026, we're on the hunt for stories and memorabilia. If you have old photos, uniforms, or a 100-150 word memory to share, the College would love to hear from you. Check the newsletter for submission details.
