Whole-school updates

  • Magdalene Feast Day: The College celebrated its annual Feast Day Mass yesterday, July 23, joined by Fr Michael. The Feast Day Fair also took place today, July 24, bringing together students and future Magdalene students from St Clare's primary school. A big thank you to parent volunteers and Mr Bubb for making the Fair a success!
  • Student Leadership Opportunities: Throughout Term 3, students will participate in leadership lessons during Pastoral Care and can apply for various student leadership positions across all year groups. Information on the application process will be shared in Pastoral Care.
  • VET Business Services Work Placement: The College is seeking businesses to host VET Business Services students for a mandatory 35-hour work placement. These hours are flexible and can be completed during school time or split into shifts. If interested, contact Ms Meadley at meadleya01@dow.catholic.edu.au or Mrs Hayden at haydenl01@dow.catholic.edu.au.
  • Parent Conference Invitation: The Council of Catholic School Parents NSW (CCSP) is hosting its 2026 Parent Conference, "Supporting Families: Working Together in a Modern World," on Saturday 22 August from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Rydges World Square Hotel in Sydney. Cost is $30 per ticket, covering topics like cybersafety, resilience, and supporting learning at home. Register online.
  • Pupil-Free Day: Please note that Friday 14 August is a Staff Development Day, meaning no classes for students.
