Whole-school updates

  • Term Break & Return: Today, Friday 26 June, is the last day of Term 2 with an early 1:00pm finish. Term 3 will kick off on Monday 13 July.
  • Uniform Shop Update: The current Uniform Shop will close at the end of this year due to rising costs and supplier changes. New uniforms will be available from LOWES at Broadmeadows Shopping Centre, which offers regular sales (including 20% off periods) and a 5% loyalty card. The current shop is still open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 9:00am if you need anything before stock runs out.
  • EAL Reporting Changes: Our school has updated how language backgrounds are reported. Some families may see an EAL (English as an Additional Language) page on their child's report for the first time, which is a tool to provide tailored support to our wonderful bilingual students. The information session with Mr Aaron on Tuesday 23 June is now in the past, but feel free to chat with the office for more info.
  • SunSmart Reminders: From September to April, a 'NO HAT NO PLAY' policy is enforced when UV levels are 3+. Remember to slip on protective clothing, slop on SPF30+ sunscreen, slap on a hat, seek shade, and slide on sunglasses.
  • Important Times & Safety: Gates open at 8:30am, school starts at 8:45am, and finishes at 3:20pm. Gates close at 3:40pm. Please use the front car park for drop-off/pick-up only (max 10 mins) and never block the disabled bay or emergency gate access. Our school is a strict smoke-free zone. Also, no chewing gum is allowed on school grounds. Early pickups are not permitted during lunch (10:50am-11:30am) or recess (1:40pm-2:10pm) or after 3:00pm.
  • Cool Weather Attire: For those cold, rainy days, ensure children are dressed warmly. Navy blue or black beanies and gloves are appropriate, and beanies can be purchased from the school.
