  • Welcome Back to Term 3: A heads up that Term 3 kicks off with a Curriculum Day on Monday, 13th July (no school for students). We look forward to seeing all students back, rested and ready, on Tuesday, 14th July. 🗓️
  • Principal's Update: Principal Juliet shared reflections on a busy Term 2, highlighting the wonderful inaugural Art Camp at Blackwood, strong progress on the school's Annual Implementation Plan, and key takeaways from the Principals of Special Schools Conference.
  • Attitudes to School Survey Results: The 2026 preliminary results are in! Students reported feeling safe and supported, with high marks for classroom behaviour (88%), high expectations (87%), and having friends at school (87%). The school will be focusing on boosting school connectedness and ensuring learning feels engaging for everyone in Semester 2.
  • Student Support Groups (SSGs): A huge thank you to the 78% of families who joined SSG meetings this term to discuss student progress against their IEP goals. Semester One Reports will be available at the end of term, and Term 3 SSGs will be held in Week 8.
  • Mobile Phone Policy Reminder: A gentle reminder that all student mobile phones must be switched off and securely stored during school hours, including camps and excursions. Students are asked to hand them in at the gate. If you need to contact your child urgently, please call the school office.
  • Medication at School: Please ensure any medication sent to school is in its original container with a clear label and is accompanied by written advice. Over-the-counter medications like paracetamol require a medical authority form from the office.
