Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Update: Our principal, Peter, is on long service leave for the first week of the holidays and will be back for Term 3. Graham Brooks is Acting Principal in his absence. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable break!
  • Heads up - Zone Changes from 2028: A new high school opening in Eyre in 2028 will cause changes to our school zone. The northeastern part of our current zone (likely affecting families at Greenwith Primary) will be reallocated to Playford International High School. These changes apply to Year 6 students starting high school in 2028. Current students and their siblings will not be affected. Contact the Principal or the Governing Council Chairperson with any feedback.
  • Meet the Staff: Say hello to Kate Thorn, our Reception, Camps, Excursions, and International Support Officer. When she's not at school, you might find her stand-up paddle boarding, tending to her indoor plants, or on a weekend drive to find a new bakery.
  • a student & Signing Out: A reminder of the sign-out procedure. Please use Compass to note early departures. Year 12s can use the kiosk, Year 11s can use the kiosk if they have a free lesson sticker, and Year 7-10 students must see a Student Services Officer in the Hub. Text messages are not accepted.
  • Wellbeing Over the Holidays: The Wellbeing Team has shared some great resources for managing screen time and finding fun, low-cost local activities during the school holidays. It's a great time to encourage a healthy balance of online and offline activities.
  • Welcome to Staff: A big welcome to Anne Davenport, our new Behaviour Support Manager. Anne has a background in social work and psychology and will be a great support for our students and families.

Reminders
