Whole-school updates

  • Support Unit Faculty Highlights: Our LAF students had a fantastic Term 2! They showcased their talents by placing 2nd in the NSW Boccia Western Division Championships and winning their division at the NSW Basketball Disability Championships. 7 students were celebrated for their basketball achievements. Students also enjoyed visits from the Taloodles Therapy Dogs, performed in the Statewide Musical - Mary Poppins, extended their visual arts skills, and developed cooking skills by preparing a potato bake.
  • VET News for Senior Students: Our Vocational Education and Training (VET) students have been busy developing practical skills. Hospitality students operated the Evans Café and catered school events, undertaking work placement in the final week of Term 2. Fitness students built industry knowledge, and Entertainment students prepared for the World Refugee Day performances in Term 2 Week 8, managing stage setup and ensuring smooth event delivery.
  • Careers Google Classroom: All students and parents are encouraged to join the Careers Google Classroom (Code: bpo5uzz) to stay informed about the latest career opportunities and important announcements throughout the year.
  • CodeWarriors Winter STEM Game Jam: Students in Years 7-11 are invited to a two-day coding, game development, and STEM challenge in Glenwood on Wednesday 8 July and Thursday 9 July. Students will design and build games while developing programming, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Check community advertisements for registration details.
