Whole-school updates

  • Principal's Report: It's hard to believe we're halfway through the year! Principal Sara Swift extended a huge thanks to students, staff, and families for their hard work, with Semester 1 reports coming home by Friday 3 July, 2026. Remember, the last five minutes of the school day, after gates open at 3:10pm, are crucial for teachers giving important instructions, so please keep noise down and avoid peering into classrooms.
  • Staffing Update: We'll have a few changes for Term 3, with Mrs Deeth heading off on maternity leave (replaced by the familiar Mrs Handley in 2G), and Mrs Scarra moving into a well-deserved retirement (replaced by Mrs Sharman). We'll miss Mrs Scarra's fun, flair, and amazing cookies!
  • World Cup Fever: Students tuned in to watch the Socceroos take on Paraguay today, cheering them on to a 0:0 draw at our whole school assembly. Go Socceroos!
  • NSW Public Schools Parent Survey: The Term 2 survey closes by Friday 3 July, 2026. It's a great chance to share your feedback on communication, wellbeing, and learning support. Find the link in the newsletter if you'd like to participate.
  • Student Achievement Showcase: Big congrats to our CREATE students, who put together an entertaining performance, collaborating across schools and creative mediums. Also, shout out to the students who participated in the High Potential and Gifted Education Social Emotional Learning Day at Waterfall Public School this week!
  • School Bytes App: A reminder to download the School Bytes app if you haven't already. The school is using it for attendance and is keen for families to use the portal.

Reminders

  • Thu 2 Jul: wear PJs & enjoy toasties
