  • Bus Service Update: Heads up, families! Road closures on Wollombi Road begin Monday 22 June, impacting some bus stops near St Patrick's Primary. A temporary stop is now at North Avenue, corner of Schofield Way. Please check the Transport for NSW Trip Planner before travel.
  • Cessnock Zone Athletics: Huge congratulations to the 32 students who have qualified for the Cessnock Zone Athletics Carnival! We're sending them all the best of luck for their events.
  • Staffing News: Next term (starting Monday 20 July), we welcome Mr William Baird to 3/4R and wish Mr Ritchie all the best as he takes paternity leave. Mrs Yolanda Duffie joins our Preschool team one day a week as the new School Administration Officer, and Miss Donna Pender is embarking on a program to qualify as a Preschool SLSO.
  • New Canteen Partnership: Exciting news! We're partnering with Catering Maitland, a non-profit, to establish a new school canteen that will be open five days a week. We expect to share more details about its availability and ordering at the start of Term 3 (Monday 20 July).
  • E-scooter Safety: Important reminder that privately owned e-scooters are illegal on NSW public roads and paths, and are not permitted on school grounds. If a student arrives with one, parents will be contacted for collection. Please chat with your kids about safe and legal travel to school, including wearing helmets.
  • SRC Initiatives: Our Student Representative Council had a successful disco, raising $400 for Make-A-Wish Foundation! They're planning more exciting activities for Term 3, focused on meaningful causes and community spirit. Participation is always optional, no pressure!
